Im sure you could make the corksport SRI for the mazda 3 2.5l work with very little effort. Here is the unit Im talking about.
The 3 with a 2.5l showed a dyno gain from 158whp/161wtq to 171whp/171wtq with just Corksport's SRI and their 60mm exhaust. Pretty promising for that platform. Last edited by MariusVT; February 23rd, 2010 at 02:20 PM. |

As far as springs go, I know Eibach has a set out for my generation of 6 as well. As far as Throttle Body and Advanced Timing - we'll see. I'm not even sure where I'd go to have that looked into. I know they have drop in K&N intakes but not sure on the SRI yet. As for the color, pictures just don't do it justice. Its almost like a blueish/greyish - at first I was a little iffy but its started to grow on me. I think it will really offset it and make it look nice with some black 17's or 18's on it. ![]() ![]() ![]() a quickr pickr post

![]() The advanced timing mod is somthin you can do on your own IF its the same for the 2.5's as the 1st gen 2.3's, look it up in the DIY section If ya dont feel like riggen up an intake to fit you could at LEAST do the airbox mod, I wcould pull up a diagram at work so you oculd get a clearer picture of what you oculd remove from the stock air intake as far as restrictions I owuldent bother with a K&N, mazda OEM air filters are some pretty good shit, IIRC its actually the same material the the AEM dryflows are made of And yes i agree that new rims would be nice. Try and get some 18's for thos massivly flared wheel arches Also, you could get rid of the stock muffler and just make yourself an axel-back exhaust, it shouldent be too much to get a nicer muffler and have an exhaust shp do some fabbin work if you dont have access to a welder

I'm lookin at the diagram right now and by the looks of things doin the air-box mod would be as easy as a vetnamese hooker.
All you really need to do is remove the lower resonator and I'd say you would be ptetty much golden. I can E-mail ya the diagram if ya like
