Default 06 6i mtx

Just thought I\'d share my opinion.....
1st off I must say that from an overall pov this car is 5 star material. It\'s great on gas, has the torque to get you moving, gearbox feels GREAT, there\'s enough room anywhere in the car to make babies, and it\'s fun to drive! I definitely love my car as a daily driver.

Performance: Exactly what do you expect? The car is torquey, but not quite as powerful as I\'d expect an engine this size to be. Gear ratios are actually a killer in the car\'s 1/4mile time imo because of a uber long 3rd (though 4th is 1000rpms below with makes up a little for higher speeds). Completely stock it handles like a dream..... as in better than a few of my previous vehicles w/ untuned coilovers. I\'ve personally have never experienced brake fade but I\'m pretty sure our autocrosser may have a time or two but that\'s expected. In all honesty after dropping about 200lbs, the car comes to life so give that a shot if you can. 3 1/2 stars

Comfort: I\'ll pass on this subject. Lets just say don\'t get leather seats if you like to take corners a little hard. Bad mistake on my part. ? stars

I can reflect on that last point as I've got a Volvo 760T with leather seats that have zero side support. Tried doing a J-turn, I slipped off the seat and my bottom well on the handbrake! Owww, and then I stalled...
My 6 with the alcantara like seats are super grippy though.
